Join us for an exciting Metal Detecting event in Shropshire.

If you're new to all of this, you can expect informative discussions and tips from seasoned detectorists who will help you along the way.
There is always someone willing to give you a helping hand or

Dig Day
Arrival is generally around 8:00am in the Summer months and 8.30am in the Winter.
Welcome and Introductions
Start the event with greetings and a short briefing.
Take a break whenever you like.... people generally have a lunch break around midday.
Lunch
There is no set pattern...
take a break whenever you like.
End of session is usually around 4.30pm but does finish earlier during the Winter months.

Please let us know what you have found so that we can upload pictures and show the group what a great dig it was.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is the expected duration of the event?
The event is expected to last for approximately 8 hours but you are free to leave whenever you like.
Do we get a lunch break ?
As above... Feel free to take a break whenever you need to.
What do I need to bring with me ?
Don't forget any of your detecting gear, obviously....
Detector... Spade... Pinpointer... Trowel etc.
Also.....Think about the weather !!
Boots or Wellies ? Waterproof Clothing ? Packed Lunch ?
Can attendees interact with other participants during the event ?
Yes.....Attendees can interact with other participants....
